New recordings with music from J. Haydn and D. Popper

Two new recordings appeared this month; one with cellomusic from D. Popper and the other with Scottish Airs from J. Haydn.

- The "Association française du violoncelle " edited the recording where Roel Dieltiens performes two of the famous 40 Etudes of David Popper. The remaining 38 Etudes are played by 19 cellists from all over the globe.

- Harmonia Mundi released the CD with the rarely heard "Scottish Airs" from Joseph Haydn. These songs are written for voice, piano, violin and cello. On this recording performed by Werner Güra, Christoph Berner, Julia Schröder and Roel Dieltiens.

The famous recordings by Roel Dieltiens of the celloconcertos of Vivaldi will be released on Harmonia Mundis label hmGold. Available in June.
